Some love stories are so extraordinary, they seem to unfold like a beautifully written novel. Amanda and Drew’s wedding day was one of those tales—a testament to resilience, quick thinking, and the power of love to conquer all challenges.
It all began with an unexpected twist. On the morning of their big day, Amanda and Drew learned that their original photographer was unable to make it due to illness. What could have easily turned into a morning of chaos was transformed into a triumph, thanks to their incredible wedding planners, Gloria and Claudia of Truly Yours Event Planning. Within minutes, they had secured a new photographer—me!
If you’re debating whether to hire a wedding planner, let Amanda and Drew’s story be your sign. Their coordinators handled everything so seamlessly that Amanda didn’t even have to break a sweat. And while the situation wasn’t ideal, I’d like to think everything happens for a reason. Their change in plans led to what I hope are the most stunning images they could have imagined!
A New Venue, A New Beginning
The challenges didn’t stop there. Hurricanes Helene and Milton made it impossible for Amanda and Drew to host their wedding at their original venue. Yet, with the guidance of their phenomenal coordinators, they secured a new location within days—Tampa Bay Watch, one of my favorite venues!
The Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi teaches us to embrace the beauty in imperfection and savor the present moment. Amanda and Drew embodied this wisdom throughout their journey. Their day, though filled with surprises, became a testament to their love, positivity, and ability to adapt.
